ARTIST’S STATEMENT
An ACE grant enabled the development of Paddy’s work in glass at the University of Sunderland. She constructs works informed by historical lace, a conceit of the fragility of glass, and the perceived fragility of textiles.
This latest piece is Lady Dorothy Carey’s reticella lace collar.
