made for the 62 Group exhibition Essence at the Knitting and Stitching Shows 2022 at Alexandra Palace, London (6-9 October 2022) & HCC, Harrogate (17-20 November 2022)
This Venetian chimney form is Paddy’s first hat since 1995. It encapsulates her penchant for exploring various media, wood, ceramics, glass, and always referring to textiles; research themes include architecture, gardens, early music, Renaissance ornament, symbolism, cats, hats, Macs, & her granny.
A lot in a small place, as have been her homes & work.
