Made for and exhibited in arttextiles2, a touring exhibition by Bury St Edmunds Art Gallery. The subject is a portrait of circumnavigator David Scott Cowper, to celebrate the start of his fifth solo circumnavigation of the world via the poles, in his unique boat Polar Bound. Alongside him are a chart and checklist.
