Made for the 62 Group exhibition A Collective Response at Bankfield Museum, Halifax. The exhbition was so called for artists to respond to the collections in the museum. The piece illustrates the life of Paddy’s grandfather who was a soldier in the Duke of Wellington’s West Yorkshire Regiment. The Regimental Museum is housed at Bankfield Museum. The allusion to the computer reflects her increasing use of the computer as a research tool.
